Rome has a had a huge amount of support over the last few years since finding out he had a large brain tumor. Now the tumor has turned up again he wanted to do this little video to show people an average day in his life. The video shows some of the treatment he receives and also explains how things are a little bit different now the tumor has come back. He is determined to stamp it out for good with natural treatments and this time but they can be costly and all the help him and his family has received has been overwhelming. Rome is one of the most positive people I have ever met.

I know there have been fund raisers to help out already and I'm probably not the first to mention this, but would a bro model board for Rome in order to help cover the costs of his treatments be do-able?

My heart and healing thoughts go out to you and your family, with every ones support and your obvious strength, kicking this thing is going to be easier than finding a street mattress during council's hard rubbish removal.

Thanks so much for the kind words , stoked you like the vid , josh did such a great job of it.
Me and Rach thought it would be a good idea to do a clip like this after everyone ( you) had been so supportive . We felt that we should explain what's going on now and where the donations and your positive thoughts have gone .
So that clip shows what a normal day is for me and my family when home ( that one was pretty busy) on the Gold Coast. .
We just got back from Sydney where I've had a special treatment called oncathemia , which works on the theory that cancer can't survive at a certain temperature , so this new machine ( it's been used in Europe and other countries for years , but only been given the thumbs up here recently , I'm the second person to try it , the first started as few days before , so I'm kind of a lab rat) after a certain amount of treatments , mixed with an alkaline diet and exercise will kill the cancer cells and make my body a place were cancer has nothing to feed on (sugar).
It sounds wild , but when I head back to my second treatment ( I'm assuming there will be a a second ) we will make another clip .
The treatment is really expensive but we feel really positive about it and it won't smash my head around like surgery and chemo has in the past.
Anyway , Element / surf stitch are putting on an amazing fundraiser / online auction to help pay for these treatments , as well as some shirts with prints of a couple of pics I've taken , as well as 3 boards with my name on it, with all proceeds being given to us to help pay for it all.
All the info will be posted up everywhere real soon and were so stoked / overwhelmed how so many crew has put there hands up to help.
Anyway , thought I'd post this up as an update and a big thank you to everyone who has donated , been involved and thrown out the positive thoughts.
I don't really have any choice but to beat it with all this love getting thrown about.
Anyway , getting a bit soppy here so I best stop.
