Hood river is amazing. Every part looks great. You could do a rad modern take on a clover, stairs over pool corner one section, proper man size keyhole one section......
Street obstacle ideas. Yep you need some good basics. Not an obstacle like this in Melbs as far as I know?
get one of those platforms that spin on top of a volcano like at the sunnyvale park.
Spin top Volcano Co sign! I remember seeing it in an old video and thinking that is so sick. Agree with chip for sure, good basics then spend left over cash on obscure things. Rosebud is a really good park with some unusual objects like the marble hip/flatbar and woopdy do thing, that park is fun
Also stoner park mellow kicker to kicker co sign
I like all these ideas, just don't try and do too much.
Anyway, what size cup holders will it have?
The Percefiny!
I love rosebud. It is so fun and unique. Less is more approach. Tranny wise copping a few emails in support of a modern take on a classic clover.
Budget wise this should be decent. Well placed Flatbar, manny pads ect are a given.
Bummed people are not super stoked on a Nimbin snake run!
Righto then!
PLEASE carefully read through and look at the images in the context of comments that go with them. I am hoping to have a very clear and well directed proposal to put forward, organised well before the consultations begin. This is YOUR park and YOUR ideas, I am just trying to be the glue holding the ideas together. I have a great relationship with the council and am a local rate payer, and not too bad at council speak to present the ideas. So yeah, in short wanting this to to go well and not wanting to look like I am trying to dominate ideas.
Once we have a clear idea of images we will present them as a group to the consultation.
The picture to imagine is a modern clover surrounded by a flowy path with plaza and DIY inspired obstacles. Keeping the path separate will assist with being cost effective and the days of a rectangular slab with bits plonked on it are long gone.
For the flowy plaza click the link and go to 0:30 seconds in to get the idea, obviously with more obstacles and corners.

Then the bowl will be in the middle. PLEASE NOTE IMAGE IS FOR AN IDEA OF PATH LAYOUT WITH BOWL IN THE MIDDLE, NOT AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT THE ACTUAL PARK SHOULD BE. Apologies for caps just pre-emptive yelling
So if you can picture a flowy plaza path with some of those elements or other ideas then think of the corner options
