The much loved Prahran skatepark is undergoing a redevelopment to the facility. Council is planning to demolish the old concrete skatepark to make way for an extension to the Aquatic centre. The skatepark will be replaced in a new location adjacent to the vert ramp, see attached development plan. Nothing is set in stone yet so please make sure you fill out the questionnaire and have your say on this iconic Melbourne skatepark – share with friends and get the word out.

flat enough ground for beginners to learn to push and stay on the board, but the ramp is a little dodgy
edit: careful riding on the lighter concrete, it's really slippery and the change from rough concrete to smooth is super jarring
