i also heard that there are only 5-6 shuttle busses running for the gold coast festival
yep only did 6 signs for the buses this week...

New york dolls were pretty shit
the rapture did a good show, beck was sick(literally) he struggled. Pixies did a good singalong session
was a pretty rad day
The Pixies absolutely killed it...
The Rapture were fun
Gnarls Barkley was smooth
Soulwax was bloody good
Groove Armada was kinda boring
The New York Dolls well i wish i hadn't seen em even though it was cool to see them
Beck was good i think (can't really remember)
Had a top day
pixies were fucking awesome. they've been on my 'must see in life' gig list so so stoked to see them. rapture was rad, lots of crazy dancing. phoenix and beck were good too. nouvelle vague's love will tear us apart and too drunk to fuck covers were sick.
designated drinking areas and massive line for drinks tickets sucked big time, definately hindered my drinking ability massively. only good thing was coopers pale on tap and belgian pancakes. was a really clean festival. the whole place was clean, everyone was clean. felt weird. loved how it wasn't as massive as BDO. just hope they made enough ticket sales to have it on next year. (i heard they sold about 10000 by a week or two ago and then tried giving away a shitload in the last week to get more people to go).
ending the night at the casino was also rad.
