Got some of my records out last night been a while after thinking they were a waste of money and space for a while, im getting stoked on them again lot of break even, miles away, title fight etc. Anyway anyone have any recommendations on a record player? Currently have some smith st band, modern baseball and more title fight on order

Also saw break evens The bright side sell for $100 + the other night. Crazy for a record that was originally $20 from a local Perth band

I'm more of a digital crate digger, mp3s are the new vinyl and you can search through hundreds in minutes if you have YouTube and adblocker.

I've always had an interest in djing and turntablism, but the cost outweights the benefits for me.

I heard from a professional record collector that all new records are a waste of money because they're recorded digitally and don't have the same quality of old school analogue techniques.

I personally have no idea what I'm talking about but if all you want is something fun of hold in your hands and spin around on a set of turntables then I guess it's still worth it over having those clunking digital turntables without cool scratching

no idea what happened there?^
I have an audio technica turntable, pretty much just a knock off 1200, pretty cheap and does the trick no worries! I'm not a DJ, just using it for my own listening pleasurez.

You really don't know what your on about Pet-Files, saying that all new records are recorded digitally is a gross generalisation. Vinyl is always gunna gain value and wont end up a shiny disc on the floor of your car, and most new pressings will come with a digital download so you can have in on your precious iphone anyway. Moar Vinyl!

Its a pretty cool thing to collect, CDs aren't designed to last very long.
