In other completely unnecessary internet waisting chatter: what's the best thing to put between to slices of bread?
I'm backing a solid Reuben.
I am 100% confident that I make the best sandwiches in the southern hemisphere.
There's a place in marrickville that does squid and mango wraps with a coffee for $8.50
Cameron M - There are unlimited combos when it comes to sandwich construction but the most important part of making a sandwich is how it gets put together.
A common mistake is getting the bread soggy. You always make sure your "wet" ingredients (eg. tomato, sauce etc) are being protected from having direct contact with your bread. So if you're making a standard BLT you would stack it Bread, Bacon, mayo, tomato, lettuce and bread. The mayo and tomatoes contact with the bread is being protected by the bacon and lettuce. This will minimise the risk of getting your bread sogged out.
Yep.
