It's on again! Get down south (way down south) for one of Tasmania's most exciting skate comps. $500 cash for first prize in the open category for starters!
wooo! hope they bust out the fruit platters again!
so good how the whole town gets behind it
how was the run the other day maney ha ha sucked in
This is always a great day, great spot! Nice park, Brett does an amazing job down there to get so many local busineses behind this! Always good skating, hope to see all your northerners down for this one! $500 is worth the few hours in the car for!!
Looks fun.
Might have to get a crew from the north west to hit it up.
How far is dover out of hobart?
Dover is about a 1.5hr drive south of hobart.
So from DPort that means about a 4 and half hour drive!
So if you depart from Dport at about 6.00am, you should arrive at Dover by 11.00am ish.
On the homepage you may have noticed this statement about the dover comp:
"Down here you gotta pay for the privilege to go in comps to win a deck the organisers probably got for free anyway."
Sounds like comps run on the mainland charge everyone to enter or something.
Poor buggers. So just a reminder in case you were confused by that statement, Dover comp is totally FREE to enter. The only cost is the pain you put your body through on the day! (That's if your an old man like me)
