What are you up to today?
Just woke up, having a cigarette and a coffee at your house and I�m going to go for a swim later on at the beach with my girlfriend. It�s about 33degrees. Pretty hot.
How�s my coffee pour? Considering you�re a barista..
It�s about as good as an instant goes. I�ve never really tasted any good instant coffees so it�s hard to say.
How long have you been a barista now? Are you one of those people that can�t go a day without coffee?
Nah I can. I usually go my days off without coffee. Umm I�ve been doing it for about a year now. Started off just helping the bar out and then I got fully into it about 9 months ago. It�s a pretty hard gig. Long shifts doing the same shit, standing up all day � definitely hurts your legs. I get a lot of free coffees which is pretty good..

So you�re working full time? What do you get up to on your days off? Photos and footage?
Yeah four days a week. I dedicate one day to my girlfriend and two days possibly skateboarding, but it�s been pretty shit weather lately. Too hot, but I do my best. I try to get photos or footage but sometimes it�s hard and you miss the boat. On those days I just go to a skate park and spend the whole day there, like a little brat. Usually Prahran or city park.
What�s the deal with Four? Did you see the thread on skateboard.com.au?
Ha-ha yeah. What basically happened was that they asked for some footage for a clip that came out a few months ago and unfortunately I couldn�t hand anything in due to a few reasons.. And I think they weren�t happy with that. Plus there hasn�t been much coming out from me lately so yeah I guess they stopped sending me boards. But it�s not like they kicked me off or I left or anything, at the moment it�s a mutual break. Ha-ha we�re at break time right now. Hopefully I can get back on board with them or if not find someone new.
So you�ve talked to them about it?
Ahhh no� ha-ha. Yeah it�s quite painful paying for boards. Especially like, I go through about one a week. So that�s 60bucks a week just on boards and I didn�t have to spend that before so now it�s like, well, - I can go out, eat something nice for two nights and skate a crappy board or eat Mi Goreng and buy a new board.

Working on anything new with DC and Leigh (Bolton)?
Just filming individual parts for DC web clips. I think they�re gonna leak them up throughout the year. I think they did it with the American Ams or something before didn�t they?
Not sure.. Did you read about that 17year old that died while skitching his mate�s car? What do you think about that?
Nah I didn�t. That�s pretty tragic. Ummm� Good fun is always safe fun. Or there�s always some sort of alternative. I guess there�s a lot of influence from skate videos and games. Can�t really do much about it.
Have you ever done anything like that? Anything silly or dangerous?
Nah not really, I�m quite the safe player. Umm.. Talking to Dane Burman? Nah probably just back flipping into a swimming pool when I was young. I really did not know how to back flip and I spun about 270 of the way and landed forehead first onto the brick on the side of the pool.
Damn. Was that in Japan?
Nah that was in WA. I realized then if you try something like that you should probably make sure you can backflip first.
