Is there some kind of 'Slam Coverage' factor that weighs into it like Thrasher SOTY? I don't read slam too often but I'd have to guess their coverage of the X-Games and other Jake Brown related events would be minimal? I would also think that choosing someone who would bother to turn up to accept the prize would be another factor?
