Info regarding the consultation. I reckon Aaron at Playce and Darren at Baseplate have nailed this one. Anthony and Andrew Mapstone put in a lot of great ideas into this one to get the draft where it is.
It's the next wave of parks. Is your local 5+ years old and could do with an extension? The site is the biggest hurdle in getting a park. Once the site is sorted and a park built the council can allocate funds for maintenance and upgrades. How much do you reckon they spend on a footy field? Parks go for 10+ years without any extra funds. It's an easy thing to lobby for.
