A skate story inspired by Malaysian skateboarding artist Donald Abraham to solve skateboarder’s everyday problems
The legendary “Vans Showdown” is an invitational street contest that will give a nod to iconic contests of the past, showcasing skate culture and the highest level of professional skateboarding to all the fans. This year, Vans transcends the Showdown series to Asia Pacific, promoting region’s finest skateboarders and creative minds, while offering support to skate shops and communities through the give back components in various phases of the campaign.
In the 1st phase, fans can expect a celebration of skate culture, and witness the highest level of skateboarding in the Asia Pacific with 43 skate shops digging deep into their archives and submitting their best 1-minute re-edit of footage from three of their team riders. We are partnering with Vans global athlete, Kyle Walker
