Sydney council will release plans to Prince Alfred Park skatepark and swimming pool development this weekend according to the telegraph.
Prince Alfred Park is near Central station and close to the corner of Cleveland St and Chalmers St
Doesnt say Timbo 1.
-Refurbished Pool
-Toddler Splash Pool
-2 New Tennis Courts
Skatepark - it is also designed to give skaters using Cook & Phillip and Martin Place as unofficial skate parks, a purpose built area of their own.
The Plan will go on public display from Saturday. - Where?
an unfortunate implication of the media release is that once this place is completed expect police and council rangers to crack down on skaters at Cook and Phillip and Martin Place
I would really like to know who's involved in this, as Aaron and I were involved in the initial presentation of our ideas at a council meeting last year.
call up Clover Moore and Sydney City Council. They will make a media release this weekend. what remains to be seen is, if there are any plans in place or merely an agreement in principle to build a skate park
jenkins from what I hear. I hope so anyway.
major crack down on street skating I guess now.
It better be damn good considering the possible consequences
Fed, how did you get to see Chad's lattest plan its not released publically till this weekend

this is a 6Mb link to Coucil release about PAP, park is to have both street and bowl elements plus 24 hour security (what???)
havent got anything more specific on the skatepark apart from a mention of it requires additional funding so I dont think it will happen anytime to soon
