guess that's why it looks like a BMX track
it could be ok for FIFO workers. they could just stay in tom price skating instead of flying back to perth. instead of hitting the pub they could get some exercise
I was in the Pilbara area yesterday and had a roll at the new park. I have some photos to post up as well.
The park has super smooth concrete to say the least and the design of the park has an ok flow but the corners are way too crazy tight i.e. near the small manny pad and the bank at the back left corner closest to the pub. Also the three ledges circled on the plans above are meant for spectators or parents supervising their scooter-loving kids.
The park was empty at lunchtime except for a few older dudes skating on their RDO from the mines. After school, forget about it. Nothing but scooters. Everywhere.
