Vans Kyle Pro 2 Wear Test
The Kyle Pro 2 gets put to the test at Chiggy's indoor skatepark on the Sunshine Coast.
Starring Jackson Pilz, Matthew Boggis, Mat Chigwidden & the Chiggy's skateboarding crew.
Support is what Kyle needs to keep progressing. Support can come in many forms, but for Kyle, what matters is the long-lasting and enduring type of support that comes from the skate community, and it’s this same kind of durable support that he’s modelled his new signature shoe after. Featuring the revolutionary Wafflecup construction that offers the support of a cupsole without sacrificing any of the grip or board-feel of a traditional vulcanized shoe, the all-new Kyle Pro 2 also includes new SickStick gum rubber outsoles for next-level grip, enhanced sockliners that deliver superior cushioning and impact protection, and DURACAP reinforcement rubber underlays in high wear areas for unrivaled durability. It is made with sturdy suede uppers and hook-and-loop closures. Without everything, it’s nothing. Y’all or nothing.

This place just received a $900k government grant to install a pump track and upgrade the skate park, so hopefully it will be good in 2025.

Big kahunas required to ride the big bowl.. but its so fun! The rest of the park has average flow but the architecture and layout is pretty unique and fun! 4.5/5

flat enough ground for beginners to learn to push and stay on the board, but the ramp is a little dodgy
edit: careful riding on the lighter concrete, it's really slippery and the change from rough concrete to smooth is super jarring
