How was the Poon Run? How long did it go for? What was the best and worst things to happen?

Went for 10 days. Best thing, maybe prank calls. A lot of Hooners got prank called. Camped the whole way. Dane somehow got us all free sleeping bags and clothes from Polar. Free clothes, free hats, free bags, heaps of gear and was so good. Camped in Dane�s backyard. His grandparents are the best. We drove to QLD. Somehow got (Andrew) Mappy to camp � he�s never really camped on a trip, he�s a hotel man.

Sounds awesome. What kind of activities did you get up to on this trip?

Jesse (Noonan) knew everywhere to go, he had all the good camping spots. His mum used to take him to this place Yamba. We camped there and at night time we went exploring and there were heaps of snakes and frogs and shit. Callum was catching cane toads and booting them across the river.

Haha what. Did he kill them?

Nah they�re real tough. We�d catch these tiny little baby frogs and put them in our mouths. They would bounce around in ya mouth like little ping pong balls.

HAH. You actually did that?

Yeah there�s not much else to do when everyone else is skating good spots and you can�t skate them. There was a lot of �you get a goon sack next shot if you do this��. There were a lot of goon sacks on the trip.

You think skateboarding goes hand in hand with alcohol? You think the trip would have been a lot different without goon and beer?

Well, Mappy doesn�t drink, Dane doesn�t drink. Skateboard.com.au gave us money to blog so we were basically blogging for beer. It seems to be all the best skaters don�t drink and are sobi wan kanobi�s. But skating drunk is very fun. It�s definitely good to say stuff like �next shot you get a long neck�. Good incentive for tricks.

You going to the Bowlarama?

Yeah

Who you going with and for how long? Been before?

Me, Myself and I. I�m not taking my skateboard, screw skating that bowl. I went two years in a row. I drove up in the Vans Kombi with John Parmeter.

Sick. What do you do there?

Sneak in booze via slurpees. There are so many sprouters there too.. Pretty much naked too.. Only a tiny bit of material between them and their vagina.. It�s called bikinis!

You�ve got quite a bit of ink these days. Lots of home made tattoos too?

Yeah I used to have a tattoo gun but my mum used it and she put it back in the bag and ink went everywhere so it doesn�t work anymore.

You�re working at Cherry (Bar) and Sister Bella�s. Always wanted to work in a bar?

Nut. I was going to be a cabinet maker but I decided I hated it. Did that for like three years and gave up. I didn�t have the commitment.. Skateboarding took over my life, bro. ha-ha

I remember one time at Cherry you kept meeting with a girl in the toilets to hook up and then back to work? That happen often?

I dunno, I�ve picked up a few girls working and.. Had to do the deed I guess..

Mine was the originator of the Library tattoo! And I did it myself, and it�s isosceles I believe.

What are your plans for 2012?

Well, I recently booked a ticket to Japan, that will be fun. My lovely grand parents, John Martin and Elaine Martin have given me three thousand dollars for my birthday so I had a fun.

Yeah it�s pretty generous. So that�s paying for Japan. I wanna go to New York real bad too.

You reckon you�ll get to NYC before the end of the year?

Well, we�re all gonna die at the end of the year so, yeah.

I don�t really care cos I could die today, ya know. Ha-ha so whatever. Actually, Michael Cross put a good thing on Facebook, maybe they would have thought the world would end if someone, is it Sicilians or some shit? � Let the Mayans finish their calendar. Because they killed them all.. I dunno something like that. But, gave me a bit of hope ha-ha.

If you had a list of three things to do before the 2012 armageddon thingo what would be on it?

I�d get a massive loan out and buy a massive Poon mansion. So everyone could live in that. A billion dollar loan� Thirteen bed house. I�d buy a bottle shop and move it underneath the Poon mansion. I�d stock ginger beer for Dane, so he could still have fun. Third thing would be� I dunno. I go to vegas with everyone! And pay for everyone in the Poon mansion. Poon Run to Vegas!!
