WHERE ARE YOU AT THE MOMENT?

Skateboarding in the USA! I�m sitting in the Roosevelt in Hollywood, here just for a night before heading down to the Maloof Money Cup to host a segment for " Attack of the Show" which is on Fueltv in Australia. Met up with Kerry Fisher from Nike SB and we are having a ball!

EXPLAIN A LITTLE ABOUT THE NEW WOODWARD SETUP?

Its the biggest skateboarding playground i have ever seen in the world. Woodward east is the 1st one they made and still the biggest. Its heavy. About 10 indoor skateparks, about 7 outdoor parks and plaza's. check the website..

CAN YOU PARTY THERE OR IS IT FULL OF STRAIGHT EDGE JOCKS?

We had a couple but we went as private group... I wouldn�t be in to going if i was a camper. Id probably go insane being told what to do all the time. It felt a little school.. But i did love the place just being able to run around with azar and kizza.

DOES IT COST MUCH FOR THE AVO PUNTER TO STAY THERE?

I was told it was a $1000 bucks for 5 days. If your a skate rat you will love it!!

I HEARD THERE WHERE MILLIONS OF CREW THERE WAS IT HARD WORK TRYING TO GET AROUND, IT SEEMS PRETTY BAD WHEN THERES NO EVENTS ON AT THE BEST OF TIMES? WHO ARE YOU HANGING OUT WITH?

Believe it or not she actually skates. She was at xgames with her boyfriend who is friends a couple of crew.. she was pretty nice and mellow..

ARE YOU GOING TO ENTER ANY OF THE BIG COMPS THAT ARE COMING UP?

Only the Converse Coastal Carnage comp. Its this huge bowl on the beach while the US OPEN is on. That's a big surf contest down the O.C!

YOU LOVE THE OC, HOW DID YOU GO IN THE COMP?

Pretty crap cause I didn�t skate the course much before but we got a lot of photos and footage in cali anyway..

DO YOU HANG OUT WITH RYAN SHECKLER?

We hung out the other day when he won at Xgames. RedBull bought us a cabana at the rooftop of the W hotel in HOLLYWOOD where we were all staying and he was going crazy after he won. poppin bottles!! they bought thousands of dollars worth of bottles...it was mental.

SOUNDS SICK GIMME THE DIRT ON SHECKLES DOES HE REALLY HAVE THAT STUCK UP ATTITUDE HE SEEMS TO GIVE OFF HIM OR IS HE A GOOD DUDE?

He's a good dude, all that "life of ryan"show talk about him stuff is pretty much over... He's skating a lot and the stuff he told me and the people around him......... Lets just say the Plan B movie will be amazing.

DOES IT LOOK LIKE SKATEBOARDING HAS SLOWED DOWN DUE TO THE GLOBAL ECONOMY IN THE USA?

Things are looking UP here... So many skateboarders.. From a skateboarders point of view it looks fine XGAMES, MALOOF MONEY CUP, DEW TOUR, STREET LEAGUE, TV SHOW AND TOURS STILL ALL GO. Im sure the retail industry is still having a little trouble...

THATS GOOD NEWS AS ITS SEEMS A BIT BLEACHED OVER HERE AT THE MOMENT.CAN YOU FILL US IN ON WHATS HAPPENING BETWEEN MALOOF AND STREET LEAGUE? IT SEEMS NOW ITS OUT IN THE OPEN LIKE THERE SOME BEEF BETWEEN THE TWO FACTIONS??

It is spliting skating a little, but i think it might be good because the skater that dont normally make it to the comps will get a chance. Spread the love a bit. Skateboarding is big enough for all the contests to continue...

THIS WHOLE MEGA JUMP THING SEEMS SO UN-ACCESSABLE TO PRETTY MUCH MOST SKATEBOARDERS IN THE WORLD YET IT LOOKS FARKING INCREDIBLY GNARLY FUN. WOULD YOU CONSIDER HAVING A CRACK JUST FOR FUN?

I'd love to have a crack gourbs. The only bad thing about mega is that there isn�t enough of them around.
