The latest design of Chads looks like it would work, for the last 5yrs Fernside has been shit, but we have made it work, so any improvements are welcome. As far as designs go Aarons best elements combined with Chads should ensure a great park. Remember this park has to provide a place for all levels to enjoy and learn at. Good luck fellas, post something after the meeting next week.
That was why I was trying to make a point at the meeting that many current and soon to be built parks cater for tranny and bank skating.
A ledge and kicker park would be sick as far as I'm concerned. I would definately skate fernside more often if it was Aarons design.
The other point is that if people really want to skate banks and tranny, then travel. I was on buses and trains for two hours each way to get to Ryde skatepark when I was 12.
Skatings all about the travel, new spots etc, so I agree Mick, I just hope that some sort of resolution can be met that ensures a fast track to construction.
The very last design meeting was a few days ago. Hopefully we'll see the final plans sometime soon. There should be a final meeting with locals in 3 or 4 weeks to view the plan.
any love with those 3Ds mick? im mighty bored with my brand new broken wrist and i need something interesting to stare at for a few hours:S
depends on your definition of new is haha but anyway waterloo will be crazy in a good way
