hold on isn't this a free country? We should be allowed to respect and disrespect whatever we choose. Or have we all decided that only some things are allowed to be 'free'?

true that you say it now barlos, but if someone ignores something that the general population observes as something to be respected, then they are disrespectful. the masses decide what is to be respected.
also, today at state library there was a "public speakers forum", and they were arguing about who owns the land at state library (aboriginals or the crown). anyway, we were skating in the background, peacefully and not disturbing people, waiting for people to move etc etc, and these three other skaters sat in front of her and were bagging her out a bit. then she starts yelling on her microphone that skaters are scum and shouldnt be "terrorizing" this area that is crown land or whatever, and then she announces to the crowd that it is "scum" like skateboarders that are the problem in youth today and that people like us are all "thugs" and that we "skateboarders as a whole are responisble for the werribee girl being sodomized and urinated on".
fuck i felt like trucking her fucking head off, i was very annoyed at that. she tells this whole crowd that shit. and it didnt help our cause that one of the three skateboarders was yelling out to the crowd "who would root this woman?" (she was fat, red haired and hella ugly). so she kept ranting about our "obsenity and disrespect.
i get pissed off when people skate the memorial just before the 9/10 stair...fuck you tom penny! aha
His name is mitch kelly and he lives in prymont and he is the same piece that took a chip out of black double and made secreuity tight and shit>
He wears a von zipper hat and skates the city alone.

Man im not saying what that kid did was right, but man really... does it honestly matter if some kid in martin place was macking a noise (not speaking) but making a noise? when at that exact moment their would have been hundreds and hundreds of people all over Australia and Sydney doing alot more than making a dam noise..
and rollerball no hate champion but correct me if im wrong in saying that you dont actually skateboard anyways theirfore you saying "i must be in the wrong sport" is entirely true..

hey-this is the lifestlyle we choose(skating) and there will always be rude/arrogant fuckers in our sport(should i say pastime then?)and we wil always be hated on by others because of these disrepectful crew.
