i remember last year we were skating at parliament and he asked us if he could use one of our boards and i gave him mine. he popped a couple tres and proceeded to try and crooks the 10 rail then said thanks on was on his way. great guy hope its not true
baulko...since i saw this bulletin, ive been trying to dig up his number, but i just remembered that he doesnt have a phone at the moment. i saw ben on monday. it was on smith st. i saw him again on wednesday. so if anything has happened it is really recent. fuck i hope this is not true...
maybe this is all a misinterpretation of him being stabbed six or so months back? he was in the papers as a result of that.
the posting was by a friend of ben's, who posted it after hearing (on wed) from another good friend of ben's that he had passed away earlier in the week (ie mon or tues), but i saw ben on smith st with his board on mon and on wed. so i think ben is safe, as it just doesnt add up. fingers crossed.

Ben could have been bigger than he was,witnessing some of his ability on the daily was truly something to behold.People nowadays still are not doing shit Ben used to do
he would rock up to the park and you woulkdnt have seen him for months, but he would have fresh setup and beable to b/s over k the rail every shot
Ben is one of my favourite skaters ever.....years ahead of everyone back in the day.
Spoke to him last week on Facebook,said he is still skating...might have to get mine out of the cupboard too!!!
i cant remember wat clip or part its from, but he does a sw tre? or maybe a sw hard flip? in ratho bowl. its fucked up watever the trick was.

On a good note, Ben's Backtail Kicky out to fakie in some old Aussie Vid (insert name here) was a good sign that Ben was so far ahead of everyone else.
