> KING OF COOPS 2013 - 21ST SEPT
It's nearly that time again... We're gearing up for this year's King of Coops skate comp at Coorparoo Skatepark in Brisbane on Saturday 21st September.
Last year the skating was insane and it's going to be bigger and better this year. We've got more prize money ($2,5K +) and more proddy than ever!

King of Coops is on this Saturday at Coorparoo Skatepark in Brisbane! Looking like it will be an epic day!

I will see you guys there! You bring the water truck and I will bring my froot boots.
Looked but could not see what time is it kicking off?
I have the day off and would enjoy getting along to watch the action too.
Here's the schedule for the day:
10.00am - 16 & Under (Prizes given straight afterwards)
12.00pm - Opens
2.00pm - Concrete Skateparks Miniramp Jam. 20 minute all in jam with $500 to be won.
2.30pm - Sponsored Heats
4.00pm - Sponsored Finals
5.00pm - Prize Ceremony and Product Toss.
All divisions will be run as Jam style Heats of 4 or 5 skaters. Under18's must wear helmets.
Hella prizes for 16 & Under and Opens. $1000 cash for 1st place Sponsored with cash given to 5th place. Product Toss/carnage will be after Prize Ceremony.
Should be an awesome day!
Rad day out, from what I saw of it - ramp jam and sponos - and then went to Hibiscus for an afternoon skate so didn't see the king get his crown, but from the skating I would say Joel Mac was killing it and probably took it home (again).
Jack Fardell was ruling on the mini ramp, and even had more than a few good tricks on the street park in the comp too.
So many others there killing it too, like Boyd, Mashy, Bugs, the Dandy brothers, etc.
Big thanks to Ben and Project team for all their efforts in making it a super good day out. I am sure there will be some sore heads tomorrow.
