Bondi to Tamworth
The Totem Skateboarding crew got the legs warmed up at the Bucket of Gnar event at Bondi Beach skate park on May 25, before hopping in the van driving 420 kilometres to Tamworth for the grand opening of a new $1.7 million skate facility on May 26. Both events saw a massive community turnout with beginners, shredders and families coming out to participate in skate jams, barbecues, DJ sets and demos. Totem brought along some of Australia's favourite skateboarders from all across the country, including Nixen Osborne, Noah Fuzi, Mitchell Howse, Ryder Lawson, Levi Jarvis, Cam Markin, Sam Sutton, Jack Paterson, Chris Vaughan and Mitch Robertom. With more than nine years of experience running community skateboarding events, skate lessons, road safety workshops and community outreach programs, Totem has become the industry leader when it comes to youth skateboarding events in Australia.
