You referred to funding for a Warilla skatepark.
Was that a typo? I couldnt find a reference to 'rilla in that email reply you posted?
Or was it merely a similar case?

the locals would make short work of a fresh park
Park looks rad, a fun jam worth the train ride.
My only concern is if it gets over-run with 6 fingered banjo pluckers & bmx riders then we'll be forced to abandon all hope like many other parks. Shouldn't happen but, not in a respectable place like helensburgh.......
yeah this will be a park 2 watch ur back, locals get get fukn gnarly up thr if u run ur mouth or look small.... or if they just feel like stabbing u in general...

For all you that live around the Shire and the Illawarra I've recently recorded an interview with Paul Campbell (paulfromtheburgh) about issues involved with the Helensburgh skatepark for VOX 106.9fm's youth current affairs program 'crossfire'.
The story will air this coming Tuesday between 5 and 6pm. So listen in if you can. Honestly there isn't much information in it that you can't get here. But skatepark advocacy needs all the airtime it can get (plus Paul does mention this forum thread).
Also, after stories are played we tend to talk about they raised. I don't know specifically how it will go, but if there are any issues you want me to try and bring up, post them here I guess.

Ask them how they are going to keep the yokuls at bay during the construction period.
If you can -- post the interview as an MP3 on here, as I highly-doubt I will be listening to "VOX".
tell them no matter what happens do not try and cover the graffiti up with paint or non graffiti paint ur best 2 just leave it, that shit is soooo slippery..... and tell the 2 use conviv allready and not some bogan cut with a cement mixer he borrowed from his auntie who works for sum cement company, if the cement isnt the right grain it will be really shit 2 skate on
