Fetus 23:06 07/Aug/05

Pig. 23:58 07/Aug/05

Pete, how far from sydney is Orange?

That mini looks incredible, the dimensions are perfect!

Transported in the back of removalist truck with the rest of our "furniture" (the removalist said it was the first time that had moved a "skate rink" as they called it!)

Orange is about 2.5-3 hours (depending on traffic) from Penrith up past the Blue Mountains...

Did a bit more tonight...
Platties up!!! Yeee haaa

Just got to put the handrails on, screw down the platties and put some lights up!

(then cut some tracks on my trailbike, make some dirt jumps and my backyard playground will be complete... for now!...)

Nate Dawg 23:25 08/Aug/05

hahah thats funny that the frost is so bad that it looks like new ply!

looks like heaps of fun. Wish mum would let me build one in my backyard....

No frost this morning... still bloody cold though!

Just do what I did when I was a young tacker Nat Dawg: wait till your folks go on holidays and then quickly throw up a ramp!

that is a classic pete! it so looks like a fresh new layer of ply! are you gonna put a new layer on it? be a lot smoother...

probably won't be up till early sep at this stage, keep you posted.

you should post some pics of building your first ramp so nate dawg can see how to avoid an almighty kink! (and for memories sake...)

Can you lay the flat layers the other way to avoid the join in the middle Pete? Sheets are twice as long as they are wide right?

DANGER MOUSE. 12:37 09/Aug/05

yeah seriously, i cant beleive u didnt think of that but yeah... wateva nice ramp... i just ditched mine it was taking up 2 much room and i hardly skate it anymore....

Yeah Mick... (Flash made a similar comment)
Don't know what I was thinking... (not thinking)
Thankfully I've only screwed the flat down with a screw in each corner (ran out of screws..) so I'll switch em around this arvo...
I am planning to put a fresh layer over the top but may be a little while so it'll be worth switching the sheets around for the interim.
