I know this is probly a long shot but it is worth a try.
I'm looking for jobs in the skateboarding industry around the Mornington Peninsula area (but Im willing to travel an hour to get to work)
I have been skateboarding for almost 12 years now and I know just about everything about the useless wooden toy.
Give us a shout if you would like to know more and my resume.

Work at a skate shop?
They usually have things similar to skateboards stocked.
Would be a good start, and you would get more info on what is happening in the skate industry, and could go further.
