13 years ago today, Pete Scott (AKA Pete Repete, Pete Red-hat) was killed in a car accident. Some of you may have skated the small park at Moorooka which is named after him. There is also a plaque at Coops and there was once a tree planted in his memory, but the tree has since been ripped down and the plaque goes un-noticed.
True ripper.

flat enough ground for beginners to learn to push and stay on the board, but the ramp is a little dodgy
edit: careful riding on the lighter concrete, it's really slippery and the change from rough concrete to smooth is super jarring
