I ordered $500 worth of books from Amazon last night. Last time I ordered from them, it took 2 months for the books to get here. I hope it doesn't take that long this time.

http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/ is good. UK site so postage took a while (2-3 weeks) but postage is free and prices are pretty good.

Reading evil voices by GM Hague. Some aussie cunt. Not too bad so far.
that book looks sick azhay, is it specific to a certain region or would it be useful for people anywhere?
well the guy's from the new england (northeast) area of america, and he does talk about america mainly but all the shit he talks about is how to prepare, things that fuck evaders up, things that snipers/fbi/mafia (whatever you're evading) lookout for, and just how to survive (not like bear grylls-style - i've already got plenty of wilderness survival books). nothing too specific to america though. the 2nd chapter just goes through about 6 or 7 countries and their pro's and con's of evasion.
if snow isn't a problem, definately canada seems the best, heaps of water n wildlife and 35% of the country is dense forest.

anyone have any good books on philosophy? Just started elements of moral philosophy by James Rachels.
Another great short book I read recently was Night by Elie Weasel. True story about a child escaping concentration camps with his father. Only book i've ever read which I felt scared to read.
And years ago I read into thin air by Jon Krauker which set me on a fascination of Everest and im going to Nepal now in 2 months to trek to Everest base camp

Still haven't read anything of Thompson's. I shall remedy this.
Am currently reading The Passage by Justin Cronin. Its a post-apocalyptic vampire-ish novel. Ridley Scott bought the film rights for it before it was even published. Is fairly fucking good.
