- he mentions from robert bowlings twitter, you will never have to pay to play MW3, that covers having to pay for dedicated servers, that doesnt mean there wont be a pay for customization thing for reticles and player outfit mods camos etc. but theres been no mention of it at all, just speculation. hopefully there is something like this paid or not it would be sick
- from robert bowlings twitter - the game will be locked at 60fps, it wont go under that but it might be able to go above that. that is kinda big news i reckon, hopefully that refers to multiplayer aswell as single player. with the crispness of the game how it looked from the short trailer first person gameplay scenes in the boat and shooting a minigun if the games is always at 60fps it will look insane. and if BF3 is only at 30fps it will be blown away in that regard. but the enviroments of bf3 might look better and have more detail in multiplayer.
- there is currently an internal beta and has been since january, obviously so they can make the game and test it as theyre going. but according to fistacuffs who is a reasonably well known commentator, 100% there will be a beta, but it probably wont be like medal of honor, it will be like black ops where its only about 100 people who get invited and if u get lucky enough to play i hate you, and posting gameplay of it on youtubes will mean the end of your account haha.

Genesis26 May 2011it could be locked at like 75-80 and they haven't had it go under 60 yet? but yeah saying a game wont go under 60fps on console is a pretty big statement to make

In a basic way i just assume MW2 runs at 60 fps when its all running smooth, but if sumthing like an ac130 drops some shells near you everything shakes and all the dust and watnot would drop it down to 20/30/40 fps??

frame rates are locked to prevent wild fluctuations based on conditions as you described.
from the sounds of it, the framerate will be locked at 60fps giving a bit more head room than 30fps, in the hopes that it wont drop to ~12fps and look choppy as fuck. so it could be a blessing or the opposite depending on how the new engine runs on shitty old console hardware

Maybe it's cause i've played practically nothing but CoD4 and the scope transition is similar.
Either way i'm not taking it to online, though i'd probably get host and do well for once.

Despite sniping looking terrible, the way it plays i think is finally at a fair place and balanced and is more fun too me in BO, but i only find it fun in game modes like search, where u have that extra few seconds to reload. So many times the ridiculous reload animation catches me out, and its usually bcoz ive fire and the bolt reload animation happens but i press a button or run a touch too fast and it cancels the reload so when i stop too ads i have to wait that half second which is generally too late.
Its weird aswell the gun sounds and sound in general in BO is average, very tinny and underwheling, but fuck... That L96 gunshot is massive!! Sounds like theres a rosie o'donnel sized plumper behind every bullet. Its huuuge!

but not tonight. 12 year old kids, second chance pro 12 year old kid getting revived fuckking terrible connections. and the fact the famas is the only gun in this game apparently. split screen players in search who are so bad ur basically playing minus a person.
got a gameplay though using the M14 on grid soo thats a positive.

Played 2 games of ground war dom on jungle tonight. That spot right on the edge of ruins where you can head glitch and just shit on idiots spawing and running down the main path to B from A. pretty much only good for ground war. my fave spot in the game though.
