Had 3 bars for a couple of games, not that bad.
Call of Duty: Black Ops

1st night after the patch I couldn't stay in a lobby longer than 2 mins without PSN signing me out. Not sure whether it was on my end or not but xboxlive worked and internet worked on my computer so maybe a problem with PSN. All good now though

i bumped up the contrast and brightness of the clip by 30-40% and the game still looks dark as shit.

BF3 is making me jizz my pants....
There are plenty of brand new features making their debut in Battlefield 3. The headline is Battlelog--a pre- and post-game activity platform that will "change the way you play Battlefield games together," according to Bach. Dice is keeping quiet about the specifics at this stage, but given the feature's striking resemblance to Need for Speed's Autolog, it's safe to assume it will include stat tracking, social features, and maybe even media sharing facilities. Bach did confirm that you'll be able to access the service "when you're sitting on a bus," and in a bold two-finger salute to Call of Duty's recently announced (and paid-for) Elite service, it will have a "monthly fee of zero."
DICE has made some subtle but very important tweaks to the character classes in Battlefield 3. The soldier now doubles up as a medic, packing medikits and a defibrillator, as well as an M16 assault rifle with combat optical gunsight. The engineer has access to a repair tool for fixing vehicles, as well as a SMAW antitank rocket launcher for blowing them up, in addition to an M4 carbine with flashlight. The support soldier is able to dish out valuable ammunition, while also laying down suppressing fire using the M249 light machine gun with bipod and M145 optics. Finally, the recon class has access to C4 explosive packs and the MK11 sniper rifle with 6x scope. All classes also have access to an M9 pistol, hand grenade, and knife by default, and they can be fully customized as you gain experience playing the multiplayer game.
The changes to the classes have some interesting results in the game. The support soldier gains experience points for laying down suppressing fire, while those caught in the crossfire will have their vision compromised through a shaky cam and other subtle visual effects. The engineer's flashlight may make him more visible to the enemy, but it also allows him to light up dark areas, such the Metro tunnel, as well as startle anyone he shines it at--again through subtle visual effects. You can also opt out of being revived by a medic, if you'd prefer to respawn as a new class, for example.
Some brand new details have just come in from E3 2011 regarding the classes that will be in Battlefield 3 when it launches later this year.
The four classes have received an overhaul in the latest entry and a breakdown of each can be found below;
Assault/Medic
The Assault and Medic a classes have been combined now, where the Assault class can either chose to heal/revive teammates, or you can opt for a grenade launcher instead of the revive kit, if you want more firepower.
Support
The Support class is now the one handing out ammunition, and can also provide covering fire. You can mount your LMG and if fire in the direction of the enemy, you’ll get special bonus points for providing covering fire for your teammates. You can also select an assault rifle with a flashlight for the dark parts of maps (like tunnels), instead of the LMG.
Engineer
The Engineer retains much of his role and load-out from Bad Company 2, you’re equipped with rocket launchers against enemy armor, and a repair tool to fix friendly vehicles, and a sub machine gun.
Recon
The recon has the same role as in previous Battlefield games, and is armed with a sniper rifle, C4 explosives, and spotting gear.

Both Planet Battlefield and Gamespot (check out that article at the bottom of the last page, it's a great read) say it's still called the Recon class. Strange that "BF3Blog" would fuck that up.
Some more notes on our time with Battlefield 3 at E3, and a quick breakdown of things there worth noting.
On the death screen it now displays statistics of how many times you have killed the person who killed you and how man times they killed you (e.g. 2-1)
When deployed it displays on the bottom of the screen a countdown of when a squad member can spawn on you, and when they spawn who it is
Most of the rifles that we played with had 3 fire mode : automatic, semi-automatic, and single shot
After you are killed the health of the person who killed you is shown as a heath bar over their head
When your in a vehicle and stopped the camera begins to shake from the rattling of the engine
Flashlight can blind you momentary if someone points it directly at you
100 points for killing someone, 10 extra points for a headshot, 100 points for reviving
In order to revive you must hover over the dead body and hold down left mouse button while your character rubs the paddles together and charges them before the player is revived
2 grenades were given by default
In order to knife in this build of the game you need to press “f” to do “quick knife”. When pressed you enter into an animation that will pull you close to your enemy and you will grab their head and execute them by slitting their throat
You can only obtain an enemy’s dog tag if the “quick knife” command is done when you are behind your enemy
The knife seems more like a switchblade than the classic knife we are used to
Commo rose is not in the build we played. EA wouldn't give us a firm yes or not when asked if it would be in the final version of the game
Overall the game was very smooth for something that is pre-alpha. We never notices any framerate loss while we were playing. The game has a Battlefield: Bad Company 2 feel, but it's a lot more than that. If you try to jump over something you don't just simply jump, you see an animation of your solider leaping over. It's Bad Company 2 on crack with mind-blowing graphics, more intense gameplay, amazing weapon customization, superb animations, and most important of all it's the most fun we have had playing a Battlefield game.

im just hoping EA dont underestimate the sales of Battlefield and have enough online and server support to fix any problems and connection needs that come along. this game will see ALOT of people switching from COD which is a good thing and a bad thing.
kids might get bored and feel the need to hack the game, which EA havent really seen happening before in there games on console so hopefully theyre prepared incase it happens. and on console again they havent seen massive massive numbers of people playing one of there games.
as far as black ops. fuck this joke. playing zombies online im yet to play a game where someone doesnt time out. fuck, its only 4 fucking people surely a billion dollar profit means they can afford to make a stable reliable game to play online.

I hate playing pub zombie matches. So many foggots thinking their all pro sponno, points whoring and stealing your kills then get dropped every round doing stupid shit.
yeh i lost interest pretty fast ahha, went back to MW2
yeah i played 1 tdm, 1 round of zombies then went back to bfbc2.
17-5 snd sniping on array with a fair bit of lag.
i miss my bc2, i had 2 copies and i left them on a train by mistake. if you guys want to play zombies sometime im keen. you get a lot of randoms that are fuck heads. still on ps3 dook or you on xbox all the time now?
also the new bf looks game changing. i can't think of a good enough superlative.

Im on PS3 all the time, xbox the game is smooth as butter and sniping on there is super fun, but when i switch too pitol or just any normal gun i cant aim for shit. U really notice how rough BO on ps3 when u can compare, so im just gunna play MW2 instead hahaha.
Zombies can be fun but it justs ends soo fast if you fuck up haha, i hit level 25 the other day and was completely set. 30,000 points, every perk, M16 pack a punched and a random smg that was for building up points. Level after level just walking in circles running rape trains on the stage.... Then bang cornered an hour or so with a couple of breaks and the games over. My instant thought was, well that was boring...
