Just picked up some turtle beach x11's. Pretty sure i set it all up correctly. Seems to be a lot more noticeable sound through the left ear than the right. Still sound through the right but not as loud as the left. I have no idea about headsets so I'm not too sure if its meant to be like this or not. Anyone got a headset and noticed this?

yeh setting up headsets is fucked. its not too bad once u get it sorted. but theres cords going fucking everywhere.

finally beat littleandy in a 1v1. granted he hasnt played in a month or so. but thats not the point hahahaha.

i recommend getting a mate who has just started playing MW2. telling him to play free for alls, and then joining them. u destroy so hard haha. i suck at free for alls and i just won 4-5 games in a row with the worst score i got was 30-9. every game i was going for a nuke but failed. and by the end i would get to 29 kills. semtex myself to change classes and go for a try hard snipper kill cam haha. i just finished a game where i was on 29 kills. 2 minutes left and i had harriers and a chopper gunner that i could use lol.

reasons to get a headset. just got a killcam on sub base, there were 2 people running around the room with the sub hanging from the roof. i was inside on the metal walkway. i could hear one guy who was about to come inside to the left, and i could hear the second guy on the right. i waited next to the wall for about 5 seconds while he ran around the building on the right and i knew exactly where he was the whole time and i shot him as he ran past me through the wall. best $120 ive ever spent. oh and the $10 i gave some dude last to hack and unlock every camo and all the challenges for me. also money well spent hahaha

Yep, headsets deadset rip. Like I said last page, I was running around being a idiot, heard someone behind me and knew no one on my team was around, turned around, shot, "soandso has left the lobby" in the killfeed.

Yeah i agree 100%. Headsets are the shit. Played a few games with the headset and you really do notice a difference. Been having better games coz its so easy to hear them and tell what direction they are coming from. Thinking i should probably pre order black ops so i can get it guaranteed on the day of release. Does it cost any extra to pre order or anything like that?

yeh i got PX21's theyre the best on the market for PS3 and they work with xbox and people still really recommend them in some cases over other xbox exclusive ones. im also considering getting the DPX-21 which gives u 7.1 surround sound.

if ur on xbox though ear force X41's are wat u want. mate in brisbane has a set and he backs them. also plays in the number 1 team on the aussie gamebattles site for 2v2 and 3v3 on xbox

toucan get x31's there basically the same as 41's but they dont have the weird holder charger thing i got mine for 130 from eb but you cant probs get em for about 100 of ebay

is it just that they're a headset that works on consoles or is there something special?

they have surround sound so if he hear someone running you no what direction the coming from
plus you cant adjust chat volume and game volume so you dont have 10 year olds screaming and no game volume

the headset is rad, bought the px21's from GAME for $120. not as good as i expected with surround n shit coz i was already running 7.2 surround with my home theatre system but still pretty clear
