The show is produced by Shine, Rupert Murdoch's daughter's company. So of course they have blanket publicity in the Murdoch media.
It's a bloody horrible show. Those Good Charlotte brothers are America's biggest dickheads. The music is pure sap for 14 year old girls. But Lakyn deserves to win, because he's not a tool like the other contestants.
Lakyn has a strong commercial voice and I hope that he gets a manager who is independent from 'The Voice' and the Murdoch machine. He needs to say no to endorsements and make music that challenges his teenage audience. Then his career will last beyond this show.
