Animal cruelty on the other hand, fucking sickens me, even if it died from simply drowning, whoever took the photo is a fuckhead.



i know, i on the other hand love cats, but thats neither here nor there, this girl i know seemed normal enough and was driving me home from work, this cat ran accross the road and she sped up rather than slowed down so i yelled at her, what the fuck do you think your doing... no matter how much you dislike a 'pet-type' animal you never have any right to cause it harm

its also the whole "thats somebodies loved pet" like someone hates cats enough to run it over but i bet if their dog got run over they would be bummed out for months.


also as far as my medical/scientific knowledge goes if the cat is floating it could only of been a few minutes after it had drownedbecause shortly after death the lungs unblock and release the air and let in water.

so perhaps whoever took it would of either drowned it or saw it drown

i thought they used the water in the lungs to determine cause of death. so if the cat is floating, it may not have much water in its lungs, which leads me to propose only one hypotheses; the cat died of other causes, possibly natural, and was then added to the aquatic environment it is now pictured in.

maybe someone flushed it down the toilet?

well yeh needless to say i went off at her, my second cat got hit by a car she survived but i was devoed... be the same for my dogs, care more about them than any person

drowning isnt having water in your lungs. its the oxygen in your lungs running out and blood not flowing thru the vital organs which causes your body to shut down. usually after death the lungs relax again and water fills up inside. if your died outside of water and were then thrown in your lungs again woudl already be open would then fill up with water and then you would sink.

Yeah it is it is. Drowning is asphyxiaion from liquid entering the lungs and inhibiting oxygen uptake. If there was no liquid it would just be plain old suffocation.
