Ladies Choice you couldn't be more retarded. You think is artwork sucks? Boohoo, get the fuck over it. I've been to art galleries and the top value item was a picture of a square. Nothing special about it either. Gonz is one of the most influential and innovative personalities of skateboarding.

alot of great skaters are questionable people (corey duffel, ali boulala, jason dill, jim greco, a zillion more) whos off board characters we might often "hate" but isnt that better than a bunch or people with no character at all?


(i do agree that at times gonz looks like he tries just a bit too hard to be different but whatever i doubt its hurting skating in any way)

Actually, Jackson Pollock was a pioneer in modern art. He was among the first artists to make drip-paintings of such scale. That's why he became renowned.

Gonz isn't a great artist. But does he even call his drawings 'art'? It's scribbling. It's only 'art' if you give it that label.

He is one of the greatest skaters though. He pioneered gnarly street skating. First man to ollie the Wallenburg Gap, first man to try Greco's carwash gap....plus the Gonz killed vert.

plus he wrestled the fuck out of that chair in gummo.

Remember in ON video when Gonz slid under that teepee thing and everyone went wild, and The Kid was like OMG WTF?!?!?! :S

Actually, I have one bit of hate. All his pro model shoes look stupid. He shouldn't be allowed to design and or have any artistic direction over his own pro model shoes.
