travel blogs are really inspirational, there have been so many great efforts in the last year i feel like they need their own section in the forums to keep them all together. anyone else reckon yeah?

I'd agree with you flycat! A travel section would be dope, I've searched for specific travel blogs before on here. Would be cool to see them all grouped up together etc
travel section is a great idea!
t-bags you got me hyped ! solid job
Anyone feel free to help me out here ........... If i was planning a trip would you say that hongkong >shenzhen > guangzhou > macau then back to hongkong to head home would be a sufficient enough route to wet our appetites skating wise ???
How are you going about finding all the spots tony ?

Yer for sure RHW, I'd say the best spots are in Shenzhen and Guangzhou. There's good spots in HK too but most are a bust, so you wouldn't need to spend too much time there.
Macau has a couple of cool spots too!
To find a few spots I started looking at local's instagrams and asked for emails so we could get some addresses. The Chinese skaters all seem to be so friendly so its not to hard once you meet a couple of them

We did a China trip last March. I'd suggest just sticking to Shenzen and Guangzhou. I found HK pretty dated and boring as we had just spent 2 weeks in china and nothing compares imo.
I found the spots from goggling china skate websites (very few) satellite maps, locals and just sussing the local skate stores for a guide to take us about. Here's my spot photo album from our trip - http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.107071522790054.15866.100004616202760&type=3
Really don't have much to stress about finding spots, we'd start the day with the popular famous ones and just skate off in any direction coming across a bunch of untapped spots we'd never seen in videos. It's endless over there... Fucking live like a king there too!
