The guy and his goon squad who put this thing on are fucked! I mean, what does a drug and alcohol rehad center have to do with skateboarding let alone, a groms contest.
Its stating to go viral in NZ, and from what Ive heard, this guy - Doc Murdoch has been name dropping people to get sponsers for his events, and to score cheap/free proddy when these people have CLEARLY told him they want NOTHING to do with him.
He also stuck a whole bunch of logos from companies on the flyer who have also told him they want nothing to do with him.
The guys in AKL have worked SO hard to get that park to the way it is now and this guy and his cronies have pretty much undone ALL that in a single day.
Fucken wankers.
Ive also heard from some people that the guy who ran it has been inviting
the little groms to his house for "meetings" which is pretty fucked.
So hope these guys gets whats comming to them.

Insomniajosh26 Mar 2012He (Leighton Dyer) handled the situation well. He made his point and stood his ground. That bloke was fairly big. I think it took guts. The community is behind him. It could have turned really nasty for him it took guts.

'When he came back again I just reacted because there was little kids behind me'
Platt admitted he was "fuming" by the time he crashed into the teenager, but said the boy "got up, gave me a mouthful and just continued to do it".

"All these kids were rarked up again and were laughing."
