dont lie sk8y180- il still jump the fence when my knee is ready. and people status update for the bells beach rip curl pro. jedi was in torquay yesterday for the opening day which was called off as a lay day. the mtv jedi spoke with current world champion joel parkinson out the front of the surf coast plaza shops. he pulled up in his car directly infront of jedi and got out of his car. jedi asked parko what he thout of jediz lightsaber and parko replied - "its wicked". parko was driving a very nice brand new grey holden wagon. also for no apparent reason jedi has been banned from the torquay hotel - for no apparent reason at all- which pissed jedi off bcause he likes playing sega rally in the games section after jedi races bells beach. jedi also spoke with the technical coach for womens world no.10 paige hareb. we discussed airial techniques- jedi told him that my technique is to gather as much speed as possible and then hit the lip and catch air and fly (just like hosoi does). paige harebs technical coach offered his advice - to lean ur chest forward as you fly in the air to stabilize your jump and keep your centre of gravity leaning forward. also jedi had to be cautious when skating around torquay - bcause after his tv appearance 5 weeks ago - there maybe people following jedi aound the general area/vicinity. no sign of kelly slater as yet - but jedi did hear he was spotted around the shopping area the night before yesterday

no use - yes i also heard on wensday that parko had some boards stolen from his car at the bells beach car park. i have no knowledge of who removed the boards from his car. hazarding a guess i think they removed them bcause of the high sell price for a stolen world champions boards. also jedi's co-star in his youtube jedi holocron clips - captain joel dorro (360flip tail-grab,nosebluntslide shuvit-out, handrail-kgrind at the old frankston sk8park) - is also down in the torquay area for the rip curl pro

bells beach news update ..............the mtv jedi ventured to torquay once again today. and whilst in the torquay supermarket, jedi was lining up to pay for his item and he recognised a checkout girl who new him so he formed in the line at her register. after a minute or two jedi realised the person infront of him in the line was - mick fanning (2x world champion). so jedi engaged him in conversation. this is how it went:- jedi "whats up fanning" fanning "hi" jedi "do you like my lightsaber?" fanning "yeah its sick (and then i cant remember this part bcause the checkout girl that i knew piped in,,,,, but 1st i think fanning remarked on my lightsaber and said "its scary" - i think he said that, bcause then the checkout girl said "you have your blue lightsaber this time jedi" and i replied to her " yes the blue one") then jedi asked fanning "are you going to beat slater again?" fanning replied "yeah i'll try" jedi in turn commented "thats good, i always thout that slater is a straight edge, and christian hosoi is the best" fanning replied "yeah he is (meaning he also thout hosoi is the best" then fanning paid for his items and jedi threw the peace sign and said to fanning "peace" as a farewell greeting- then mick fanning exited the store. by the way i also heard kelly slater scored a perfect score in his heat today(dont quote me on that- its just what i heard). stay tuned for the next update...............................................
