it took me around about forever to come around to this Goldfrapp album seventh tree, but i officially consider it their best based on the use of electronic subtly and a simplistic collective of talent and experience.
sure, i know what you goldfrapp aficionados are thinking right, really ted? this is better than Head First? well you know, it is....
it's a lot like the way i feel about Radiohead, you know Kid A and Ok Computer were fucking ground breaking and amazing, but when you sit down and listen to Hail To The Thief you realise, this is a fucking collection of everything that makes this bands, and it's like a "best of" in terms of energy, soul and talent.
basically a peek.
the way her voice literally breathes with the track is gorgeous and as i mentioned those sub-synths come to life as well as the actual synth just fucking carrying this song on a mother fucking cloud.
why would anyone read this, i don't know, i know so few people who give a fuck about music as much as i do, which is sad but whatever here comes some more music.

how about a story?

so, i came from a pretty middle class "broken home" once my parents divorced i was like 12 and they both kinda realised i was pretty hard to deal with.
so i kind of went from one to the other until i stayed with my dad.
he was a pretty emotionless classic dad character but he loved his music.
he loved radiohead and got me into them, after my mum split it was just me him and my lill bro for a while and the song "no surprises" is still to this day a haunting lullaby.

most recently my father has found an online girly in Connedicut and plans to move there and wed her, ect ect, so we have been spending a bit of time together as he might be pissing off for good.

this fathers day, we took him out and had some dinner in the valley (bris) dudes like, late 50's and we had a couple bottles of wine.
so after dinner i was like, hey do you wanna go to ric's? (bris hipster hangout)
and we did, so we did and had untold amounts of spirits at an empty sunday ric's.

We then requested this Radiohead song before we left, in the wee hours of something like 3 or 4 Am and some fucking how, my own extremely beer bellied father showed me up on the dance floor by dancing and singing like a mad man, and it was a pretty amazing beautiful experience.
he told us before we shoved him into a cab that it was the greatest night he had ever had with us, since we had been born.


on a lighter note, a fucking floor toms in this song make me wanna cum in my fucking little girly knickers, they are amazing.
