another skating shot i took recently-ish that is in my thread but i thought i'd contribute to this one

bibby... you use a nikon or some shit no?
what flashes do you use and what shutter speed + flash power / duration do you use?
ive got a 300d so im limited to 1/250 but ive got heaps of flashes (similar to other posters here) and still cannot achieve the spread and goodness of everyone else

whenever i pull the flashes heaps far back (to achieve spread) they aren't powerful enough to light up the scene

you can imagine the aperture i gotta use when shooting 1/250 on a sunny day :(

i love your lighting elder.
but with skate shots you shouldnt really use a focul length less then 50mm unless your using a fisheye.
the wide angle distortion just makes it look wierd.
