And Chip, cheers for the feedback. It's definitely a little overexposed, I guess its just a personal taste thing. The others looked bland without the flare I think. But I'm psyched that you took the time to scope it out, I'm taking that on board for sure!

the same as when saving jpegs for the web you can change the quality of a GIF aswell as the dimesions,a gif is a bitmap its made up of a limited amount of colors, the highest amount is is 256 individual colors, it halves at every increment of quality.
you can make really small files by only choosing the have 8 colors in the image.
like everything its a compromise.

You could even add more of a challange by not allowing the photographer to use the same skateboarder or spot twice?

Yeah that sounds cool, something different.
