it's always looks more pleasant to not centre the skater, have a look up on the web of rule of thirds if you haven't already. I dig them heaps

Thanks! Regarding the rule of thirds thing, I guess it is not easy to frame the skater in the heat of the moment so I will experiment with my cropping a bit. 1/3rds is always more easy on the eye, good advice for me to be mindful of.
