Skated a new spot on Great Eastern Hwy today as the sun went down. It's an old boat yard has a fun dip to wedge. Good stuff.

footage or pics wepoo?
Wwepoo8 May 2007
Nah Ben, maybe later some time if I film anything there. It's not a GREAT spot just fun if you're in the area. I reckon I'll cope the ledge/stair there so it's skateable.

It's next to a bottle shop on the corner of Great Eastern Hwy and Daly street, Belmont.

i think ive skated there, besides the hip/bump (which is good) there is a dodgy gap over a chain into the bottle-o carpark..... am i thinking of the right spot?? and like a 6 stair with dodgy run up, fun spot nothing 2 special
Wwepoo8 May 2007
Yeah thats the one. Not something to go trekking for, good if you're driving past.

If the 2nd/3rd stair on the Bump side were coped it'd be alot better.

Fflycat23 May 2007

New Albany skatepark will be finished soonish. Not sure exactly when though.

Design looked pretty good, but don't think Convic are doing the construction so hopefully it is still feasible.

Worth making the half hour trek to Denmark to skate their park while your down there.

There are also some good street spots if you look around.

And bombing the snakerun is a must, bring some big wheels though.
Jjoe-joe24 May 2007
alright i might uprade to some 54's or 56's just for the snake run
AAdam O25 May 2007
haha
Dude I had 60's on an old one kick. THAT was fun.
But my 53's didn't do too bad on the normal setup.
Don't expect to be doin any sethies, and if you come off. For god's sake roll like you've never rolled before. Coz if you slide, say good bye to both your clothes, your skin and possibly some flesh.
