Deeemoe - A kid falls on his head in a comp and fucks him/herself up. The parents decide to sue the council/YMCA (event organizers) resulting in no more comps and initially stopping us from providing events for young skaters and promoting skateboarding as a positive aspect to the community.

Is that "right"?

Now, I hate to wear helmets in comps aswell, and yes it would be better if we had legit consent forms enabling you to skate at your own risk. Unfortunately the council won't approve it for safety/insurance reason's and there's nothing we can do about that.
