BB3NJAMIN9 May 2006
im so fukin down for that park aye looks the mad
BB3NJAMIN9 May 2006
how do i get there from perth train station
YYahbrain9 May 2006
Catch a train on the Armadale line, still a trek though. Apparently there is a bus that goes close.

Super fun park if you like that kind of stuff. Pity the stairs don't become a bank halfway down though, would have made a perfect "Euro" gap. We just need one of those, a cradle and a fullpipe now.
MMATPOO9 May 2006
We caught the 232 from Gosnells train station, took us right infront of the park

^^^^
He's on the ball.

Maddington Park boys, keep ur eye out, i just printed a flyer for the council with plans on it, Oh Boy, looks like another ripper.
YYahbrain11 May 2006
Can you post the plans Adam?

Hows life in the ville?
NNoble Jess11 May 2006
Hey Yahbrain, Morgs was just asking for some details on the Track after I mentioned its possible demise to him.
I passed him your addy, Im sure you dont mind.
Bbraddox11 May 2006
tha fuck would yah brain know? tee hee
YYahbrain11 May 2006
Hey Jess, all good mate he should have it already. Where did you hear about it's possible demise? There has been talk of it going for ages but nothing ever specific enough to get me really worried.

Yeah braddox, what would i know. Loved your literary finesse on the help morgs post by the way, half of that was way to good for an internet forum.

Write me a script!
NNoble Jess11 May 2006
Shit I dont even remember now, but I was told you were putting a 30th birthday/goodbye Track combo gig together which was why I contacted you a few months back....so its a storm in a teacup? thank fuck for that!!
YYahbrain11 May 2006
All good Jess.

Been up to skate Vic park yet?

Adam O - your heads on the front page of the FL site again.
AAdam O11 May 2006
Nice pic today yahbrain, good choice, can't wait to show tom.

Life at the ville is still the same, but the guys at HQ have decided not turn on the lights when it gets dark during the week due to not being able to afford it or some shit. I recon they should get rid of the fences and treat it like a public skatepark. You recon if we contacted the council they would be down for some kind of revamp and possibly go public leaving the building as the only centre for YMCA, hence seperating it from the park? Who is in the know? Then we could possibly get a good concrete ledge in there and the lights would be operated on the councils timing and have the same deal as most parks ie. carine, subi etc...
AAdam O11 May 2006
but then... no dude-man

thats devoing

although, less emo lurkers when gigs are on preventing more fights, there's a bit of insentive right there.
NNoble Jess11 May 2006
No dammit. busier than a one legged man in an arse kicking contest putting a business trip to the US together.
Coping yet?
When we do come up it will be a bus load......
YYahbrain11 May 2006
Adam O - Ben Dundas is probably best informed on the whole scenario. I met Nick Catania (mayor dudebro) a bunch of times when I was on the board at HQ and he seemed ok but the council in general don't seem to give a rats arse about the park.

Jess - Pool coping is apparently still 6 - 8 weeks away, it has to come from over east and they made it wrong (curving the wrong way or something like that). Still amazing to skate it as is though.
NNoble Jess11 May 2006
Yeah well, at the size of that thing coping probably isnt going to matter that much for me. I bearly got the chance to wear the ridges of a set of wheels these days.
I will be up on other business around the end of the month, so I will be trying to time it for good weather.

Hey Adam, a little birdie told me Maddington was a scaled down version of Frankston......please tell me your looking at a kidney bowl on those plans.......
Jjoeotron18 May 2006
at the vic park bowl wots with the random 2 ledges with out coping? lik wots gona happen with them does any 1 know?
BBig Cheez18 May 2006
As for HQ, I tried contacting them on the phone and by email regarding arranging the Hitlist all ages prem, and didn't get any responses at all. I get the feeling they don't give a fuck.
JJagoe MC18 May 2006
Joeotron I think they just made them to sit down on
