with your art major works, what style are you studying?

what do you mean? theory wise?
a few, expressionism, impressionism, appropriation


practical wise im doing expressive painting, i suck at realistic

my concept is abandoned spaces and the memories that are left behind

final work will be 5 canvases and around 50 photgraphs

already done 4 canvases and 25 photos

man, school has gotten much harder, in like, three years.

im with you on that one though. i also fail at realistic pieces. especially portraits.
have you any of the photos up on flikr or anything that i can look at?

you have a really beguiling style, i like it.
especially in photo 6/23 in the classroom? i do think the green chair is a bit outlandish, especially because youre doing abandoned spaces, but it still works.
the lines in 10/23 of the wheelchair is great too. youve captured the depth well, even though its obviously not finished.

im really amazed at what youve done. im working with emerging artists at the moment, and its so rad to see work thats different from the rest.
