Here's some I took quite a while ago. First up is an Elephant. It was taken in Sth Africa in a game park. There were apparently over 300 in this park, after driving around for about 2 hours we finally found one - just one!

see any surf in namibia, bartolo?

shit, i've always wanted to go to namibia. seems like back in the late 1980s there was an article in surfer magazine about a trip tom curren did, looked really wild. and i used to know a namibian at uni in sydney, had the longest head i've ever seen on a man.

I don't surf myself so didn't really look out for any, but I did go sandboarding which was fun, apart from having to walk back up after every run - 2 steps up, slide 1 step down.

Barts, any plans for a Sydney trip again any time soon?
