Tried to do split lighting on ym face with this one, didnt quite get it right, so i burnt in the right side of the photo a tad, looks like poo!!! But i think i done ok for a first try at it.......tell me what you think, mainly want to hear something from Tim or Frank haha
Gavin, for your split lighting photograph you gotta pull your light away from the background so that the light doesnt call onto it (reduces contrast between background and subject) ... you would also lose the "impact" from the split lighting method having light falling off onto the background....
also if you had to burn in the guys face its just a matter of getting the light perfectly on 90 degrees to the subjects face - that way the shadow is as even as possible

Yeah i realised the light was bouncing off the wall lighting the other side of my face, but this was once i had put the photos on the computer, and couldnt be stuffed doing it again, but thanks for the advice, ill take it into account for next time =D
