this is a photo i took of Chris Wilson. He's one amazing musician, and one of the best harmonica players ive heard in a long time.
good as lighting^^^ bit more on face woulda made it more good but
one of my good buds, Les .. mad Basketballer too. :)
some crit please .. (i dont like the backboard in the side)
heres another photo ive taken. This is of Jim Keays from in my opinion the greatest australian band of all time Masters Apprentices.
nice pics oriana. i saw chris wilson on sunday at the rainbow.
thanks Caleb. Yer Chris Wilson's well worth seeing, as is Jim keays and many other people. This is a photo i took of Stephen Cummings formerly of The Sports but has had one top and very underrated solo career. I'll post some more up later of otherphotos ive taken.
heres a couple more, the next few will be of Normie Rowe taken last friday. The man is a legend, one of the best concerts ive seen this year.
this photo of Normie Rowe was taken at the Max Merrit benefit concert a few weeks ago.
and last for now, Ross Wilson ( of the Pink Finks, Daddy Cool, Mondo Rock and a few others).
last one oriana ... very cool.

i like the backboard in the picture. it adds some character, its a nice photo. it might have looked better if the guy had a different stance, maybe slight more front on or somthing.
his head is in the middle sort of, and gets a bit lost in the photo. it blends in with the background a bit too much. also the horizon 'cuts' through his head. maybe if his head were contrasted against the sky or somthing it would be better.
:) hope i have been a good crit mans! ^_^
and again. Comments/Criticism on any of the photos ive posted is would be appreciated.
took this for a city project,
its in the state library
oriana, your pics are superb mate!
keep shooting i love them!
yeh oriana how do you get them like that?
do you setup up external flashes or what?
always wondered how its done
its all stage lighting, correct me if i'm wrong
all you need is a fast lens and a high iso
those images are fucking nice, they dont look like high iso at all, so crisp. Im guessing a really fast lens, possibly an L lens
