might look better without the square crop too, I think a rectangular crop would fit the comp better with the long jetty too
it's just a boarder, not a frame; and i think it holds the image together. i like the crop. things i dont like is how out of focus/blurred the foreground poles are and how bright the whole image is. i'll do a ps of it now and post when done.

i had the image without a border, but without it it looked like it wasnt the end of the image sorta thing, like the border holds the image inside it like presh said.. i donno it just bugged me, thought the colors were going to run off
yea, see what i did was add some vig, same idea just ditched the boarder cause it does the same job
dont dig the vig,
it creates and emphasis on the corners too much there
needs to be softer and lighter that that i reckon.
i prefer the border but the vig works as well , its just a mad shot, nice work chip
