I shot this pic for a certain someone on this site who has a thing forstar trails. Roughly a 40minute exposure. You know who you are :)

yeah ben best way to straighten horizons, depending on what PS version you have is, you go View, Rulers if you havent already, then just drag a ruler down from the top ruler to an approximate place that your horizon should be, then go Edit, Transform, Rotate and manually line up the horizon with the ruler line, then crop to get rid of those crooked lines on the side. hey presto, perfect straight horizon.

you reckon that newer version was straight...?sorta confusing...because the shore bends round and yur....ive got no sense of balance or straightness or whatever

Or, use the crop tool. Make a small in height crop box that is the same width as your frame, rotate to suit horizon, then adjust top, bottom and sides to keep all of pic in frame without showing transparrent pixles!

haha just missed the greatest sunset ive seen in my life....i live about 800m from the beach and missed the goodness by about 45 secs...haha i gt down there to realise more worseness....i brang my tripod but not the head bit of it...haha fuck

all these photogs like walking home past me while im just settuing tripod up

then im like FUCK....thats gayness.

anyways....got a couple....try 25 sec shutter holding camera on top of tripod but no head connector bit...haha oh well
