Yeaah my money situash has been quite tight lately aswell, i used to be able to get a new board whenever i felt like it but these days im riding borrowed spares with cracks n shit.
My father was nice enough to buy me some new wheels and bearings which has vastly improved my over a year old set up.

Yeah the board I've got at the moment is about a month old, but I had three weeks off to give my head and ribs a chance to heal up some - half the scab has come off the main cut on my head now, and from the feel of the scar it was a nice 5cm split - but yeah so the board ain't that worn. I was just gonna buy one up there as part of the holiday experience haha.
Yeah I'd dare say we'll be hitting up a bowl or two eh. We were thinking of hitting the god bowl at some point if we could swing it, but this no drinking no smoking thing they've got going, well, it just doesn't agree with us so much. Plus I'm not the greatest skater so that tight tranny would probably result in my shoulder getting a workout on the flat haha but yeah looking forward to skating some new shit and potential shenanigans hehe

Umm...done my ribs at the glebe/annandale mini. Me and one of my mates usually have a few rounds of Deathmatch when we go there. I'd won the round, and kept skating being a smartarse, so he was at the side pretending he was gonna throw his board in front of me, so as I rode past I tipped his hat off. Went up the other side to a decker and just as I went to come back in he threw his hat at me. I went to catch it and hooked up. My elbow hit the ground first and I landed on top of my arm on my ribs, so my arm kinda just pressed into my ribs. Fracture I reckon - didn't bother to ask the doc.
Done my head on my way home after drinking all day on NRL grand final day. Went to bomb a hill that has this grill thing that hooks you up if you ride over it right near the top. Was having a few pushes keeping an eye ot for it, then figured the reason I hadn't seen it was because I had already gone past it, so went for one last big push before I tucked down for the mad hill bomb, and hit the fucker. Had the cut around near the back of my head, and then grazes going around across most of my forehead and a bit of a hole in my nose and shit hahaha what a shit ****. Luckily one of my mates was with me so we rang someone to come pick me up haha geez I was fucked.
