Anyone Phillip Island way know if it is truely ridiculous trying to get accomodation for the summer at the last minute...assuming towns packed and all booked, r the caravan parks likely to book out too?

Yeah both have slowed down a tonne eh, since about start of last week it got really noticable.

I gotta get some metho and give my bearings a clean. Can't afford new ones for another week or two. They're the fucking worst. They were already pretty bad, but then last week I was trying do a lap around dulwich hill starting from the snake run and then around to both of the bowls at opposite ends. Didn't make it to the new part of the park because the dirt was too soft, and I probably ended up with a bunch of dirt in my bearings. I can fully feel them slowing me down just pushing down the road haha so fucked.

i still havnt used mine cause im waiting till i get some money and i can get new shoes, wheels and deck. cause im poor as. so at the moment im using shoes which are sooooo incredible torn up and broken and shit its rediculas. and my boards is just shit house, and my wheels could go faster. cant wait to get all this new shit though.....

Yep - They're the ones I won. I haven't treated them with the most respect though - in the week before I bonked my head I was riding them through water and dirt and grass and shit haha, then I bonked my head and had about 3 weeks off, so all the shit probably got in there, then dried up and ceased the little bastards up. Then I put a bit of some shitty oil on them, and then have ridden in dirt and shit again haha. Plus I've got flatspots from trying to go over the hip to front lippy and doing wheel slides on the platform haha

Yeah I don't mind a bit of slide. Usually I go to a dropped G tuning and just use a lighter or beer bottle as a slide. I used to have a mad thick brass one that weighed like 150gm! Dunno what happened to it. It was fucken sick - real fat tone on it.

yeah, im realy slowly getting into zeppelins folky shit, 3 would be my favorite album at the moment. i mean how good is bron yur stomp i wanna learn that song so badly. i can play like the strum and shit stuff, thats piss easy, but the fucking finger picking intro is soooo fast

hmm...can't recall the intro off the top of my head. Haven't listened to alot of Zeppo for a fair while...was right into them maybe ten years ago. Might have to start pulling it back out for a bit of a listen. They've got so many good songs eh.

Yeah true. Still, Achilles last stand always has and I reckon always will be one of my favourites from them. That, and the version of Dazed and Confused from The Song remains the same - all those riffs crammed in the middle there!!
I used to love listening to that album with my four way stereo setup. Shit would be panning all over the place!
